My name is Girish PATEL. I was born in Jaipur, India.

I’ve been living in France since 2010. I came to France to learn French and then to pursue university studies.

During this time, I moved away from my studies and got closer to art. You can’t escape art living here, given that France is the world’s art center.

Then after, I’m also drawn to visual art, whether it’s cinema, painting or photography, and what attracted me most in all these fields were mystery and melancholy.

Since then, I’ve had a strong sensitivity towards all this.

There was a feeling that all these emotions were so strong inside me that I absolutely wanted to share it with the outside world. That’s when I started taking photographs, to find myself and to be able to share all the sensitivity that was overflowing inside me.

I use the technique of soft focus and multicolored lights to bring out the subtle nuances of my photography.

On the other hand, I’ve never wanted to show joy through my photos, because I think that viewer’s curiosity appears in the fog.
